  Our Community is Essence International School, Kaduna, Nigeria. We will celebrate Juneteenth with Afro-American jazz music, popular music, and African drumming. The entertainment will include a mock wedding- jumping over the broomstick as in the olden days, poetry recitations and singing.
  There will be a dinner in the secondary school Hall.

  Alpha Omega Sigma Chapter, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Pi Eta Zeta Chapter - We host a Bowling Tournament; all proceeds go to America Cancer research.  That night there is a Dance raising money to support our yearly scholarships.  Then on Sunday we host a Greek cookout in the park.  Free to the community.

  This is our Fifth Annual Juneteenth Celebration located here on the Island of Okinawa, Japan. This year promises to be a celebration we won't soon forget. AACA takes pride in educating the local community about our American history. This year's celebration will take place on Kadena Air Base at Kenney Park.   Here in Paris, lives an African-American community. My organization is called the Sisters. We have a Juneteenth celebration annually in a Paris garden. We hope to provide healing to all involved.
